Home buyers are overwhelmingly opting to use Realtors when purchasing a home, according to a recently released survey.

According to the National Association of Realtors 2017 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, the Internet (95 percent) and real estate agents (89 percent) are the top two information sources used by buyers during a home search. Even among buyers who purchased a home they found online, 88 percent still used a Realtor to close during the 12-month period ending in June 2017.
